Nathaniel Brooks works on how ocean governance actually operates, as opposed to how the statutes say it does. He runs the policy clinic.

Priya Iyer designs underwater vehicles and the control systems that keep them working when nobody is watching. She chairs Marine Engineering and led the case for the test basin.

Elena Reyes works on shelf circulation and the exchange between coastal water and the open ocean. She has led fourteen cruises aboard R/V Cascadia Strait.
